chris_wick 0 Posted February 20, 2005 I'm not sure why you've requested a critique of this particular photo - for me it's the worst of your Wedding portfolio. This one looks to me as if the photo session is over and everyone's heading off to get a drink! As a 'snap' it's no doubt fine for those that were there, but as a photo, it's not in the same league as your other pictures. So a 3/3 from me I'm afraid Link to comment
deplin 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Thank you for your comment. The photo is part of the wedding story. This is after the posed photographs and yes everyone is on there way out. But it does show the bride and groom happy and relaxed. Like all photos here some will like it and some will not. But we are all entitled to our opinion. Thank you for noticing the rest of my pictures. Regards, Dave Link to comment
jennea 0 Posted February 22, 2005 I would've moved the frame down and to the right before pressing the shutter. Link to comment
j_kluska 0 Posted February 23, 2005 I'm not a pro, so I can appreciate the difficulty of grabbing good "snaps". No time to set up the shot or pick your lighting, but the one out of hundred that turns out to be a good candid, sometimes makes it worth it. I see what you were trying for here, but the people in the foreground unwittingly conspired against you. Perhaps a second longer and the woman in the foreground may have gotten out of the picture. But then you ran the risk of losing what you had. Definitely a good effort, but it just didn't happen. Link to comment
chris_minor 0 Posted February 26, 2005 You should crop more and bring out the clarity. Link to comment
