nicholasprice 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Brighton Pier (marvel of Victorian England) was a victim of arson. Since I took this photograph, the section closest to the shore has colapsed into the sea! I wanted my photograph to depict something of the pathos of the ruin. Any comments, or suggestions are welcome. - Thanks. Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted March 8, 2005 I think the one place to get the real sadness of the place would have been in amongst the ruins. The one place you can't go. But this does look very sombre. Link to comment
porter_zeen 0 Posted July 4, 2005 Nic, maybe I am just not artistic enough, but I don't get this. A pier into the water. What is this supposed to mean? I find your pictures rather disappointing. Maybe I am just ignorant, but this is a free world, I can say what I think. My friend, you have a long, long way to go. Link to comment
nicholasprice 0 Posted July 4, 2005 Porter, of course you can say what you want, thats what photo.net is all about. I'm sorry that my photographs disapoint you, but you see, I quite like them, and I took them for me. I don't expect adoration or praise, but I do want to learn, that is why I post them here, so its OK with me that you don't like them! Fond regards, Nick. Link to comment
