fabiangraham 0 Posted February 11, 2005 Comments welcome. If rated very low, please comment and advise. Many thanks Link to comment
jimmy_larouche 0 Posted February 11, 2005 I like the fact the light is on his face and it looks like natural light, which fit very well with your subject Link to comment
chad_gard 0 Posted February 11, 2005 I like the light and hand gesture, as well as seeing enough of the environment to make it interesting, but not so much to distract. The background contrast might be a very little bit too high, though. Why do you only ask for comments if folks rate you low? Ask for comments from everyone! (I'm not rating you low, but commenting anyway. So there!). Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 14, 2005 Nicely composed. Good tones and exposure. The top right frame is over-exposed and takes eyes away from the main subject. Overall a very pleasing portrait. I hope your friend will like this. Kind regards. Link to comment
fabiangraham 0 Posted February 14, 2005 Thanks for your advice and opinion. I agree about the harsh lighting in the top right of the photo, but don't know how to remove it without altering the image. Any advice would be much appreciated. Your portraits are the best on photonet, so always happy to hear your opinions on my work. Many thanks for your comment..... Fabian Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted February 14, 2005 Fabian, what do you think about this modification? I first converted it to B&W and use burn tool to darken the burned up area and convert it back to sepia again. Link to comment
fabiangraham 0 Posted February 14, 2005 Thank you Mr Ting. It looks awesome. I will try the same myself. Thanks for taking the time to edit my picture....really appreciate it. It is a fine improvement. Fabian Link to comment
a. simpson 0 Posted March 10, 2007 Hi, Fabian! Very nice shot. Reminds me of people I use to see/live with when I was on Monterey, CA as a child. You have great travel shots, and I hope to see more of your work. Cheers! -Allenda Link to comment
