Guest Guest Posted February 7, 2005 I like the light gradients and how the straight lines and right angles of the metal pieces are seen first and right after that the viewer sees the random, squiggly marks....excellent. Link to comment

seven 0 Posted May 27, 2005 You did a good job with lighting the edges like this. Great to look at - though I'd prefer a more abstract approach which might be achieved by cropping out far left (shadows) and right (writing.)Nice work. Link to comment
nathan w 0 Posted May 28, 2005 Thanks for the comments everybody, I very much appreciate the feedback. Seven, thanks for the criticism. Somewhere, I got the idea that a photographer shoots for full-frame compositions, and I sometimes forget that it's ok to do so. Cropping is a tool I need to get more comfortable with, especially since I've been shooting with one lens. almost exlusively, for six or seven years now. One lens can't do it all, every time. So, I'll try to post a revised and cropped image here.... Link to comment

seven 0 Posted January 1, 2006 Nathan - haven't seen this for a while : I like the attachment too - difficult to get one's head round which is the challenge I enjoy. Cheers. Link to comment
