Guest Guest Posted February 7, 2005 this composition is fun to view, so your PoV idea is fine, but perhaps you weren't careful about your DoF hyperfocal-focusing, since lower Manhattan appears soft. it could also be a factor of the quality capability of your wide angle lens to capture detail at the edges and corners of the frame. also, I'm wondering if you had made a similar exposure at an earlier time when there was remaining evening sky lighting that would have made the image even more interesting Link to comment

I agree about the DOF thing, but I hesitate to make judgements about sharpness and ultimate photo quality in this forum because of the compression required to post here. I think the night is totally appropriate for this shot because it gives the contrast of the lighted bridge against the pitch black sky. Well done. 6/5 Link to comment
