David, I love the muted background and colors! I would like to see the focus on the butterfly rather than the flower, but know how hard that can be to capture. Leslie

Composition is good, altough in my opinion it would be even better with a little crop of the right side, a bit to much empty space overthere if you ask me. Depth of field is very good with the flower ond the butterfly from wingtip to wingtip in focus and a nice soft, out of focus background. The flower and butterfly are a little dark though compared with the lighter background, wich now get more attention. The image also gould use a bit more sharpness/clarity and saturated colors. Oh yes, did almost forget to tell you, that I also cloned out the somewhat purple small stripe at the lower left side, because it did distract a little ...Best regards, Harry

Very good. Those out of focus lines in the background are what make put it above the rest of this genre.
