The pencils on the Japanese text symbolise the "sun shine". I

positioned the pencils slightly on the right hand side because sun

rises from The East W<--||-->E (therefore right hand side of the

picture). The idea of the pencil arrangement is from that popular

Japanese painting of sunrise... Hope you like it... Thanks!

That's the sun drawing that I was talking about...

 

I'm not good at drawing, so please excuse the kindergarten-grade drawing. :)

 

But hope you get the idea of what I meant.

 

As why the text is positioned that way, is to prevent viewers who are able to read Japanese to read the text (distracted by reading it).
