harry eggens 0 Posted February 5, 2005 Excellent composition. Very beautiful shot of a very beautiful bird Jerry. A little more DOF would have given an in focus tail and right leg of the bird to....Best regards, Harry Link to comment
cappoldt 0 Posted February 5, 2005 Jerry, this bird is GORGEOUS. Where is this at the aviary? If I go there, is this outside, or in an enclosed aviary? Also - How big a print can you make with that D1X? Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted February 5, 2005 Very colorful! Nice lighting and detail. Not crazy about the little bright bits in the background, but it's hard not to get those sometimes. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 6, 2005 The dof bubblets, perfectly amplify this ultra gorgious creature. Speaks of fine Nikon glass. You clone out that buzzard and branch and probably be a 7/7 right there. But the bird adds to the shot just real fine. Bird is 7/7 also...so 14/14 Jerry...lovely lovely bird, never seen one before ever ever. Thanks for sharing all these with us here..like forget the rate game its just great to see the very best and admire the birds. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted February 7, 2005 Yes, this bird is beutiful, but so is the composition, bokeh, colors, and general appeal. ^_^ Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted February 7, 2005 All for stopping by and giving comments. Christopher, here is the link to the National Aviary http://www.aviary.org/. I should be able to make a pretty good 13x19 print from my D1X. Paul, there are lots of birds at the National Aviary that you can only see them in person to believe there are such creatures exist. I want to thank Bryan Olesen who introduced me to this place. Link to comment
