vladt 0 Posted October 3, 2001 I was adviced to crop this picture more dramatically. I did (I cropped top third). What you think about this? Thanks! Link to comment
tom_menegatos 0 Posted October 4, 2001 I don't know what it looked like before the crop but this is very nice. Link to comment

michael_ward1 0 Posted October 5, 2001 This crop is such an improvement. It really turns the image into a spectacular picture. Link to comment
c_yu 0 Posted October 5, 2001 it would be great without the left red tree. But good composition and interesting lighting Link to comment
philip_harle1 0 Posted October 13, 2001 I would suggest cutting off the bottom 1/4, I especially don't like the blue fence. Link to comment
yuriy y. vilin 0 Posted October 17, 2001 I think its a great shot - 8/7. I also applaud to photographer's honesty, not too many openly admit that image is reposted. Good job, Vlad. Link to comment
matt_sharpnack 0 Posted October 23, 2001 Seems like some of the reviewers are giving you poor advice. DO NOT re-crop without the white fence. TO me, it provides an important diagonal line through the frame and also provides context of location. I also like the red tree - it provides a little more overall color to the photo without overwhelming it. Keep that, too. I like this photo very much, and losing the wasted space on top from the original frame does improve it. Very well done. 8/7 Link to comment
vladt 0 Posted October 29, 2001 Thanks, Matt I also think that I have to keep the fence and red tree. Link to comment
pschoen 0 Posted August 9, 2002 You really improved the image with the crop. Don't crop any more. The slanting fence gives a feeling of what is to the left and right of the picture -- expands the image. Nice shot and great edit. Link to comment
