yes the crop really works well here.

This crop is such an improvement. It really turns the image into a spectacular picture.

I would suggest cutting off the bottom 1/4, I especially don't like the blue fence.

I think its a great shot - 8/7. I also applaud to photographer's honesty, not too many openly admit that image is reposted. Good job, Vlad.

Seems like some of the reviewers are giving you poor advice. DO NOT re-crop without the white fence. TO me, it provides an important diagonal line through the frame and also provides context of location. I also like the red tree - it provides a little more overall color to the photo without overwhelming it. Keep that, too. I like this photo very much, and losing the wasted space on top from the original frame does improve it. Very well done. 8/7

You really improved the image with the crop. Don't crop any more. The slanting fence gives a feeling of what is to the left and right of the picture -- expands the image. Nice shot and great edit.
