I am looking for the 8 in originality but I can't find it...yeah I love it...the 3d effect is there and looks very cool. You just kicked a goal from the middle of the field. Bravo !

creative!!!!....what about both glassses showing nipples and the hand just holding the the frame ( bend it outwards)

Detlef, If part of the hand was not seen in focus, the picture would not work. It would be like the glasses were completely floating in the air. Shot this way, it is clear what is going on even though the glasses do appear to be floating. Thanks for your suggestion.

Nestor, I will try to keep them coming!

Good use of shallow DOF to demonstrate the effects of photography on such difficult subject, such as human being. Not sure if you need all the head to tell a story.

Thanks Hoang. I really wasn't trying to tell a story with this one. I admit, many of my photos do have a story with them..... however, this was just a bit of fun. Thanks for looking!

David ... Simply a great idea and perfect picture. The K.I.S.S. approach, originality, creativity, detail, etc., etc. - - are all simply perfect 7s!

Thomas, I hope to crack you up again! I will try!

Kim, In general, I think all female nudes appeal to more men. However, I was hoping the humour of this shot would appeal to all. Your comment suggests it might! Thanks.

I just got back from a trip so have not been able to comment on this one yet. Great idea well executed. I would imagine it was not all that easy to pull off and you did it well as usual. I will get back to you later.

Great effect! I think if the glasses were turned around as if you were looking through them, but at a distance like they are, and the hand that is holding them were out of the focal plain, it would really look as if the glasses were just floating. Great job!

Owen, As you can imagine, I am very happy with the response this picture has had. It was a simple idea. The only 'difficulty' was for the model. The glasses are actually very heavy and she is using only her thumb and index finger to hold them level.

Randy, Your idea makes sense. However that would have separated the glasses from the model and it would have looked like to separate pictures. Having said that, I may try it and see how it looks.

Thank you both!

Excellent.

Perhaps the glasses do look a little 'uncomfortable' in the models hand... Why not try a large magnifying glass to relax the pose a little.

I really do like the composition, not complex yet balanced.

The phrase 'learn to see' comes to mind. The glasses are a

tool with which to see, the model seems to show us that.

Intelligent use of a focal tool such as a lens.

'Subject and object' are well controlled and fairly cool.

Has the idea been seen before? Anyhow I think it is an original take, and that is what got me interested in it.

I like the psychology the photo invites, I think the photo appeals to younger guys like me too, very well done.

Thanks and Cheers.

Ben, thanks for your kind words. As for this subject having been done before, the answer is, "Yes." I did it myself with this photograph. Strange as it may seem, that picture was not so well received...... I wonder why?

Katty, I am glad it made you smile.
