Handheld. Taken at f/1.8 to blur the background.

The focous is a bit soft. Placing the subject to the right of the frame would have made for a stronger composition, since she is looking from right to left. The right side of the pic is wasted in this case.

Great expression. You captured a moment well there. For me, the harsh lighting is unfortunate as is the somewhat wayward hair that is covering her hand and almost her mouth too. The eyes say much in this image though so I rather like it.
