herbert fernandes 0 Posted February 1, 2005 Great subject, composition. Getting it under better backlighting conditions would have bettered this pic Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted February 2, 2005 Good symmetrical layout of the sprinklers & the sprayed water in triangular shape. (Thank you for commenting on my "Vertical Living")Greetings, Cherlyn Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 6, 2005 This is really cool! Terrific composition, and I love the color - makes me wish there wasn't snow on the ground outside so I could run through the sprinklers :) Link to comment
jerry ting 1 Posted February 6, 2005 Meriwether, again, this is a very original shot. Comp is perfect and overall exposure is fine (can be a little bit darker for my taste). Excellent shot. Link to comment

stumpf 0 Posted February 6, 2005 MERIWETHER, this is probably my favorite in your portfolio. I also really like Fire and Ice, but this one almost seems more abstract to me. Even though it is a relatively straight shot of everyday objects doing what they do, the composition/color/texture and moment, arrest the eye. This lifts it beyond capture and into pure light forms, hence-'creation'. Nice work. Mike P.S. Thank you for commenting on my work. Fellow photog-Mike Link to comment

oswegophoto 1 Posted March 25, 2005 Glad you're willing to play in the sprinklers and bring home the goods like this. The texture, the eddies in the spray ("how nice for him") are amazing. I'd guess that a stop slower or faster shutter speed might have spoiled it, so congrats on what looks like the perfect exposure. Well composed, nice colors, a Pointillism meets Impressionism look - Very classy.Incidentally, another sprinkler shot I liked a lot is here. Take a look, when you get a chance. Link to comment
