jeff.grant 0 Posted January 31, 2005 This is a quick and dirty scan of a trial shot using NPS. As a landscape colour film, it looks to have potential as a B&W film. Your comments are welcome. Link to comment
kev 0 Posted January 31, 2005 I like this image but the foreground is very flat. It need more pop. Also the highlights are a bit blown out. It you could correct these two issues you would have a stellar print. Just my opinion and nothing more. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted January 31, 2005 Thanks Kevin. I hope that the highlights can be recovered and a little more life injected. This was an experiment using NPS to record what you could never do with transparency film. It is amazing how nuch latitude this stuff has. Colour palette is another thing altogether. Link to comment
spike 0 Posted February 27, 2005 sure does make you hurt each time you have velvia loaded and a scene like this occurs! Link to comment
w_byrn 0 Posted May 14, 2006 I feel pretty confident that some Ilford and Efke film stocks processed in DR5 to positives could capture the same tonal range. walt byrnes Link to comment
