A family during an average evening at home.

A photojournalistic style for an unusal topic, which I think is quite original. Should you keep exploring the issue? Anyway, I think the parents (am I right?) are pretty aware of the camera. But not the child, which is the actual asset of this picture.

Strong image. The lighting on the little boy (?) is wonderful. I'd try a slightly tighter crop to emphasize the photo's center and omit some of the clutter. A quick example is attached.

Thank you for the comments! I agree with the cropping suggestion. I would have cropped it something like that, but I'm keeping to a 'no cropping' rule for now so I can learn to better place the camera frame.
