Thanks for all the comments, it was fun to create. Originally it was titled 'Talk to the Hand' but I felt it too cliche. I was thinking more of body parts trying to establish a 'pecking order'. Yes this is not a photograph in the true sense and that is why I posted it in the Digital Alterations category. It also went thru several phases. First started out in color with several background variations, and then did the b/w which at first was much lighter than end result. I think I may try another version with some of your suggestions. Thanks again.

WOW! Excellent photographic art and digital manipulation. Tone control, lighting, originality, creativity, etc., etc. are all excellent. Congratulations ... perfect 7s!

Reminds me of the image of a laboratory rat with a human ear growing out of its side! This is so realistic, well done! On the notion of 'speak to the hand', what is the message here? 'Speak to the hand (but really I do want to know)'. Thought provoking for sure.

Very clever. Good work. Makes me reconsider the usefulnes of digital photography as a form of expression--not that I WILL EVER USE IT.

I did have the "speak to the hand" concept but as I started putting it together, the current title just came to me and sounded more original.

Good idea, but with very good implementation, very real if i can say that :)

But i may not consider it as a photography, merely as a great graphic alteration.

Congrats, George.
