1000wordsphotography 0 Posted January 30, 2005 This works.... good composition and use of color to create a theme. Link to comment
v 0 Posted February 3, 2005 hi there :) funny how people stick to colours, right? nicely spotted, and nice diagonal (even if a negative one) reflected. neat one! V Link to comment
paolonigris 0 Posted February 4, 2005 just a lucky coincidence. The yellow and blue trailer of a circus and blu clothes with yellow towel. (year 1981) Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted April 20, 2005 No need for me to mention how great the colours look when justapoxed like this to each other. I'd rather concentrate on the strong vertical feeling of the right hand side, which I like a lot. The stripes of the trousers are vertical, and so are the fold in the towel, this all matches well with the corrugated iron of the trailer. Conversely, to the left hand side we've a bit of clutter of horizontal/diagonal/vertical lines and -worse- too much stuff around which IMHO detracts from the beauty of this scene: its simplicity. Hope you do not mind my re-interpretation... Link to comment
paolonigris 0 Posted April 20, 2005 I like your cropped interpretation. It is a better graphic image, but is losing a little bit the feeling of the location. Grazie BTW: "Circo Togni, Milano 1982" ---- I love your sailing portfolio, I will upload mine soon. Link to comment
