Just playing around having a bit of fun these days, and wonder how other people react on the different angles, colors etc. :)

The moment and attitude that you've captured is exquisite and rare, and your technique is lovely...

...but...the sweater is extremely distracting, as someone else commented. Far too bulky, strange, and noticable. I'd much prefer to see her neck and shoulders, or alternatively a very tight crop of this image, right below her chin. The girl probably loves that sweater, of course, but she's the subject, not the clothing.

Excellent! I agree with some of the others that the sweater is a bit distracting, but this is still a great portrait! Beautiful with nice colors.

I do think the sweater is obtrusive in this shot, but personally I feel that it actually adds meaning and depth. In my opinion, the size and bulk of the neck of the sweater lends an enhanced feeling of delicacy and fragility to the girl, and aids the composition as well. Yes it's there, and yes it's large, but I feel that it helps to frame her face, rather than distract from it.

Honestly, I'm not sure I'd like this shot nearly as much with a less obtrusive garment.

Her expression seems lifeless. Hard to guess what's on her mind. Even for the portrait photography the expression is really boring. The skin color is like of a dead person. Sorry about that. It should be either black and white or in color. It can be a good picture for those who understand the artistic photography, but clients will wonder what's with her skin color.

Subject in herself looks really interesting, but you should work to improve the expression.

I agree with Alex almost completely. Before reading the comments I try to see the beauty and the cons of this shot. It's really a shot of high artistic quality because it's a great capture and the technic is perfect but the final feeling is " two perfect live eyes in the person of a dead mask". By any way you have done a GREAT work. Congrats, Michael.

there so few but simple colours and they do the job so brilliantly. love how the colours of her cheeks and lips match her top. her eyes and expression are very captivating and will definitely stop the viewer
