Hat portrait

i really like the composition and lighting of this shot... also it's very effective in B&W -- and it doesn't hurt to have an attractive model, either!... nicely done!!!

What do you think about this portrait? Do you like the composition?

The lightning is good, very good actually. Maybe you could make another print where her shoulder and chin are a tad darker so the lightning would be even more even.

The only thing I have against it is that it really isn't sharp. That could be from scannig or from a slight miss when focusing/taking the shot.

 

All in all a nice pic.

Although the model is looking away from the camera, she seems to be concious of it. Perhaps if she had been in direct eye contact with the photographer it might have produced a better photograph.
