lightwriting by swapan 0 Posted January 28, 2005 Nothing extraordinary, nothing spectacular ! Wanted to try a simple picture, converting it to black and white and in this case, try a shutter speed, fast enough to show the movement and slow enough to give the traditional look ! lightwriting by swapan 0 Posted January 29, 2005 ..for likiong it. I was looking at the picture in the ER at my workplace as I had to go immediately after uploading it. I was shocked to see that compared to my calibrated LCD monitor, the LCD at work looked totally different, both the upper and the lower parts of white were completely burnt out and I saw no details whereas details ARE visible ! Just reminded me how different is what the viewers see, based on their equipments compared to how I wanted them to see a picture! One drawback of digital photography! Link to comment

jerry ting 1 Posted February 6, 2005 Swapan, a great challenge to show this in B&W and you did a good job. Very good exposure and composition. Nothing in this picture is too bright or too dark. I also have a couple of pictures like this in my Brandywine folder and hope that you'll have a chance to stop by. Link to comment
