darklights 0 Posted January 28, 2005 Aguiar, I like what I can actually see of the photo, but don't you think the crop is a bit too much? It would be a more compelling picture minus the crop. Lighting; a little reflected light on the face shadows would make it stand out more. Other than that lighting is great. Link to comment
aguiar_thierry 0 Posted January 28, 2005 Stephen, there's a reflectors on the left to decrease the shadows on the face. Otherwise, it'd be darker. Ryan, there's no picture in your portfolio. Link to comment
John Peri 1,039 Posted January 30, 2005 I have been arguing recently about the difference between a fine art piece of work and candid glamour photography. All this discussion about various details seems so much less important than whether one has achieved one's objective, which is primarily to capture a model in a charming and attractive pose. Of course, if one can combine the two, we would be in a perfect world, but a glamour shot that is as striking as this has gone a long way to reaching one's goal. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 13, 2005 You have succeeded in reducing the image to the important elements. Frankly, it would not have bothered me to see a bit more crop from the bottom edge up...perhaps to just below her hand. But that is a minor point, and in no way detracts from your image.
