The road that sees no end that leads to infinity. The clouds & the road are symmetrical, that's your good eye & perspective. Beautiful.

The best thing is in the picture details 'Temperature: Cold!' , I wouldn't have believed it ;-)

It's a strong composition. Okay it's nearly in the middle. But there are two 'streets': the real one and the 'street of clouds'. So they meet each other in the middle of the horizont line.

Iceland in winter, a dream...

Yes, this is a real good image.

It's very good to see a bit bleu in it.

You bring a kind of speed in this nice composed picture!

How wonderful that the sky and universe are so cooperative with you, Baldur! An immense feeling of BIG here. You see so well, I'm glad you share. Thanks.

Jos, many thanks for your visit and comment. I said to my friend "Wow, we must stop the car and make some shots" This is my first attempt with the 20mm in landscape. I am used to 14, 17 and 24mm. I think this is a nice start with the 20mm.

The expansiveness of the scene and the symmetry of the composition make this an excellent photograph, but there are a couple of details that really make it for me. Firstly the soft lighting on the left, but more importantly, the post on the right. It has a pleasing unsettling effect and sets the whole shot off. Very nice work.

Cheers, Leigh.
