When you have something pointed going to an edge you get what's called a 'tension point' (usually the top of a pointed house going right to the edge of the frame). Here, the eye starts at the bottom and keeps bringing us back to it. Try cutting the piece to just above the light patch on the bottom right. The 'leading lines' will still lead us into the image, but the viewers eye will be set free to examine the rest of the wonderful detail in the background. The balance will still be off (the main batch of trees is dead center), but it will be stronger. MS Link to comment
