Polarising filter seem much better to reflect the calmness of the

place.

Nice pic Alec...and the good thing here is you can frame it and sit back and wait for the pixels to move into the desired place. Not many things u can do that with. I had a pile of these in the pond and a family of racoons had dinner one night :( cheers.

Thanks for coming by guys. No Rabbani, I did use a polariser but not for this image. I find it looks much better with the wavy reflective motion on the surface instead of just looking straight through the waters.

Alec, I've tried taking these Koi many time, but cannot get this kind of effect.I been to suntec(Koi Garden) many time, trying to have a good shooting there.But disappointment more than anything.

Spencer, if you use a polariser the results can be quite obvious. Clear and stark without movement. That's why I opt for some reflection here to show life and movement for the kois. Hope I succeed. Brandan, thanks for you kind words. Conrad nice to hear from you again.
