kim_tural 0 Posted January 27, 2005 A very beautiful photograph. The composition and the muted colours are great. 7/7 Link to comment

iason_faennos 0 Posted January 28, 2005 Please, please... excuse me for altering your image! I just could not resist to temptation. At last i felt the luck to encounter a perfect photograph! The idea inherent in this image is perfect. The message conveyed is perfect. The composition is perfect. The lines are perfect. The man is perfectly vertical still holding his mate. The woman is perfectly leaning on him, the diagonal of her body agitating the eye and vigorously enriching the frame. Everybody's motion is perfect and the picture is perfectly full of it. The child, perfectly hard to guess if boy or girl, has been captured in the right moment and the right place, rushing out of our eyes, dashing in the future. (Would it be better to escape out of the right side?) The light is artlessly natural, dismissing a feeling of freedom and unveiled unconventionality. All this put together with an unusual cohesion, make this photo astonishing to me. I dared: i balanced the tones a bit, made it pure BW and flipped it. Please accept those interventions only as ideas of how i would like it, and my deepest thanks for uploading. Best wishes! -iason P.S.: the fact that you confess the casual presence of your daughter made me forgive you for this and for having uploaded only 5 photos! It seems god is with photographers! (Well, sometimes...) :) Link to comment
root 0 Posted January 31, 2005 This is a combination of commercial and street. That seems to be why you posted it and why you like it, but hardly anyone else seems to be reading it the way you intended. Curious. . . . Link to comment

medina photography cherry 0 Posted March 11, 2005 Not working for me as a family picture. Don't get me wrong, it is an excellent image but the man/woman look like they are in a romantic embrace and yet the child is playing in the background. It looks better with the cild cropped out like in your other collage. Maybe if their pose was more playful, which I am sure it is, but it comes across as more romantic than playful. Link to comment
sky blue 0 Posted April 13, 2005 Everyone wants to experience life like this... very memorable image. The happy, undistracted child completes the photo as far as I'm concerned. This image is a great contrast to the "empty beach chairs beneath umbrella" photos. Link to comment
dave lemke 0 Posted June 27, 2005 one of those perfect postcard photos. I gave it a 7/7 Link to comment
isaac madera 1 Posted August 9, 2005 I have already left you a comment in the past on this, but I just thought I'd drop by again to say that I think this image is THE best rated photo on Photo.net 147 ratings to date and an average JUST under 7/7.....wow..my hat's off to you for that kind of feedback. And yes, this photo is simply breath taking. Good luck topping this one ;) Link to comment

gerfoy3 0 Posted April 24, 2007 Amazing image, there is so much going on and the low angle you shot it adds something of a wow factor. With such a strong powerful perfect image I'm just wondering why you did not remove the bird and straighten the horizon, surely it was worth that little bit extra work. I LOVE this shot and it will stay in my mind a long time, it gives the impression of all alone on an island. Ger.. Link to comment

exposurebits 0 Posted April 24, 2007 What a lovely moment! Life is so live! The fact that the little girl running/jumping... adds more meaning to life... meaning to the moment and value to the picture! Well done. It's a 7/7. Link to comment
