seven 0 Posted January 25, 2005 Bonjour Audrey. I like the contrast of the new and the old styles of architecture; the bicycle lends a sense of motion and introduces contemporary interest. I wonder about the sky - could be cropped without losing the juxtaposition. That would keep the viewer's eyes from straying to the horizon. Perhaps? Link to comment
audrey lee reid 0 Posted January 25, 2005 Thankyou Seven, I recall many moons ago, I needed USM help, you offered sound advice which I've learnt. The good advice of cropping the sky here is the fresh eye I need too. I do slightly worry that by doing so, would the pic become too long & thin? (BTW)I visited your portfolio only yesterday, before 'my gap year' you didn't post all those lovely pics, so glad to see more then just 3 of your work:) Link to comment
seven 0 Posted January 25, 2005 Audrey, if it should seem a touch elongated post-crop, there's always a bit you could chop off the nearest glass structure from the left; just about 8mm of the medium view (@1024 x 768 resolution.)I haven't uploaded anything new to PN since early 2003; new pics might be old ones that I've since made public. Cheers, Seven. Link to comment
audrey lee reid 0 Posted January 26, 2005 Seven, I tried the new crop & like it better - thank you for the suggestion. May I ask if 'picture this' is only for the experienced? Link to comment
