What a beautiful idea to preserve her as a young woman! Have you looked into having this slide redone? I don't know the first thing about it, but this is a definate "keeper". Such a lovely capture, and I'm assuming the photographer was a suitor or your own Dad?

These kinds of photos makes me sad...but anyway it's very beautiful, as your mother was.
