Too much PP?

Love this shot, (and I am not a big fan of nature shots). I don't see it as "an attempt to grin" though. More like "Hey, I'm tryin' ta take a bath here, what the hell are you DOING!" In either case, GREAT facial expression.

Now that we know that this "grin" only seems so when viewed in thumb. All thoughts of "is this a zoo shot or wild" seem to go out the window when treated to such a high quality image. Perhaps its the Bw (sure like to see in colour too), or the fact its on film...but it allows extended viewing right on in to this extrodinary animal's being. I viewed 15 minutes and am convinced that "grin" really speaks...lunchtime. No question at all, he would eat ya alive yikes. 77777777777777777

They really do love the water. Its like Paul said. I can look at this for a long time and get lost in it. You have a magic finger on the button to come up with these moments. I wonder too what it would look like in color.

He may be grinnin' but he sure ain't smilin'.... :-). I, too, think the color version, with those intense eyes, would be stupendous... Mike
