davidmccracken 2 Posted January 22, 2005 Maybe not the most original shot but the colour seems perfect. Link to comment
jez 0 Posted January 22, 2005 Good crop. Colours work well. Not sure wheether a better angle would add drama. Link to comment
c brake 0 Posted January 22, 2005 I really love this except it is too centered. If you can, try again and move more to the left and angle the shot a little so you get more toward the back end of the car and beyond, but still include the front, instead of shooting head on. Link to comment
blago 0 Posted January 24, 2005 A very nice shot, Carola. I like the tight composition, maybe, because of the almost regularly distributed areas of greens and rusted metal. Sooner or later everything goes back to mother earth. Yes, we've seen similar shots, but this one I believe, would be noted among them. Regards. Blago Link to comment
seven 0 Posted January 24, 2005 The exposure is good and I like the effect of your softening in PS. I find the latter form of filter works very well with greens - especially foliage that can sometimes feel a little 'twiggy'. This way there seems to be more density in the detail. Rust contrasts well with the verdure, and the other significant contrast is that of vitality vs degeneration. Link to comment
johncrosley 1 Posted January 24, 2005 I coulda kicked myself. I didn't buy the rustproofing or the undercoat the dealer was pushing. Carola, you are using PN to show me what a fool I was. John (Crosley) Link to comment
glabarca 0 Posted January 25, 2005 Interseting shot but I have to disagree with Blagoy, I think that the composition is to tight or not tight enough, I think that some cropping right and left would improve the image, the meaning would be even stronger (rust and decay) Link to comment
iason_faennos 0 Posted March 17, 2005 Great light, smart caption. Without the softening, i would accept it as well. The light on the fallen door is great! Link to comment
