it's still as good the 2nd time around. Great composition and the action is excellent. There is a bit of a color cast to this image though. A quick clean up of levels, curves and saturation would help. See the attached. I've made the corrections and kept the top and bottom of your image as is, but show the corrected portion in the middle. This way you can see the difference.

You are totally right about the dull colors. Normally I do make an sRGB before I do upload an image on the web, but forgot to do it this time. This is the RGB version I did upload here and that's why it lost some colors. Thanks again for pointing me at my mistake, I just have to be a bit more alert in the future....Best regards, Harry

That's a great moment to capture. It belongs to the national geographic greats! As mentioned before, the levels do need a little touch up, that'll be perfect. But a 7/7 moment, nonetheless. :)

Mr Goldstein has a very discerning eye. I am looking at the original in LARGER view and think it's great; I never would have realized that it was a "mistake" of colorspace. But the corrected version is indeed nice. In any case, this is a great action shot that really depicts the quandry of the bear, who presumably would like to catch that next salmon too. Very good phtotgraph! Regards.
