This is an even closer view of my dad's watch. I used a 100mm Macro at1:1 and improved the color from the last iteration.

I really like this photo, It is different!!

The only thing I would say I dislike is how bright it is. A little toneing down might help it.

The shapes and textures are a pleasure; I think you've homed in on a very interesting part of the timepiece. I would definitely pull the exposure a little, and even think of having a corner in shadow which will introduce contrast. Think about your lighting, tone it down/ diffuse as some of the highlights are fairly hot and you're losing detail in those areas.

In contrast to Brian I just like the brightness in this shot. But I prefere the other version above this one because of the details like ciphers and the background. But however a beautiful picture of a very interesting object. 6/6
