rod_melotte 0 Posted January 19, 2005 This is an even closer view of my dad's watch. I used a 100mm Macro at1:1 and improved the color from the last iteration. A larger viewcan be seen here http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3049005 Link to comment
brncr6 2 Posted January 19, 2005 I really like this photo, It is different!! The only thing I would say I dislike is how bright it is. A little toneing down might help it. Link to comment
seven 0 Posted January 19, 2005 The shapes and textures are a pleasure; I think you've homed in on a very interesting part of the timepiece. I would definitely pull the exposure a little, and even think of having a corner in shadow which will introduce contrast. Think about your lighting, tone it down/ diffuse as some of the highlights are fairly hot and you're losing detail in those areas. Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted January 20, 2005 In contrast to Brian I just like the brightness in this shot. But I prefere the other version above this one because of the details like ciphers and the background. But however a beautiful picture of a very interesting object. 6/6 Link to comment
