tony georgiadis 0 Posted January 20, 2005 Pnina thanks Yes indeed I wouldn't be surprised at all if fairies showed up there it's the only thing missing......but then again I didn't visit it deep in the Night Hmmmm who knows.... Now Pnina about that blue.......it could be the same blue but it wouldn't work on every picture some of them are perfectly suited for that blue treatment it depends on the light that falls on the foliage and water and the shades and highlights. j_doyle 0 Posted January 21, 2005 Tony, Thanks so much for your reply with detailed technical information...much appreciated and very helpful. This image has an amazing 3-D quality to it. Not sure what it is that you did to accomplish that effect...you may not have even intended 3D, but studying this photo more might provide some clues. Looking forward to more of your work. Thanks again. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted January 21, 2005 I'll use Reiner's abbreviations a little differently: "CR" is for, "Cool Reflection," and "CL" is for, "Cool Leaves." ^_^ Kleve? Isn't that near Emmerich, the border town where the EC trains stop and switch locomotive (from NS to DB, depending on direction)? I guess I'll skip the train and drive next trip. ^_^ Link to comment

jerry lee 0 Posted April 26, 2005 this is without question an automatic 7/7. anything less is a crime of insanity. The only thing i see wrong with it is that its going to be too difficult to create a blue night dream image BETTER than this. Maybe you will. Jerry Link to comment
fmueller 84 Posted January 13, 2008 There is incredible depth in that image. It almost looks 3D! BTW - Mention of the Emmerich railway station brings back lots of memories for me, since I used to live in Amsterdam for a year and my now wife used to live in Erlangen near Nuremberg in Germany. Most of the time I used to drive to Erlangen on the weekends to visit her, but when she came up by train, I often picked her up in Emmerich, so I could see her a bit earlier, and make the train trip a bit shorter for her. They seemed to take forever and a day to switch the locomotive! Link to comment
