Nagoya Subway-1

I like this the best of your subway series- probably because the subject is looking at the camera, but also his expression is perfect for someone going to work (or coming back).

I guess I like your writings more than your attitude.

Compared to filming people of a foreign culture, maybe extracting some explicit stories from the pics of own people are even more difficult. Hence I might presume that you as a writer be more adroit to catch the whispers of a target, while these whispers are sometimes very implicit and not observable to others.

Elsen, maybe you miss the point of the photograph. Alex is "writing" with the light and the subject and the mood and with his editorial thoughts as to when and how to take the photograph. All of those decisions lend strength to the technical aspects of the work. But more importantly, the style of the photographer comes through amid all of his choices. This is a very nice piece of work.

You captured a great moment well. Well framed subject. Nice work.
