colin carron 58,916 Posted January 15, 2005 No straight lines anywhere. I like the way all the lines are curved (egg shaped). Link to comment

Heel erg mooi dus... Link to comment
Link to comment
baldurbirgis 0 Posted January 22, 2005 Unwrap! Very interesting image. I like the placement of the peeling against the red on the dish. No straight lines. Nice colors and composition. Regards, Baldur Link to comment
mike werkhoven 0 Posted January 22, 2005 Thank you for passing by and commend. Amazing all the way from iceland. Internet is incredeble. Hear you, Baldur. Mike Link to comment
htc 0 Posted January 23, 2005 I like the shapes and the composition but imho i find this one not very good technically. The foreground is oof and the light is too hursh. I would suggest a smaller aperture such that the plate would be sharp. These are my thoughts, sorry if i was too harsh regards, calin Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted January 23, 2005 I like that the sharpness is on the yolk and the yellow also stands out, so it's logical to have it that way. First time a raw egg has seemed appealing! Link to comment

mike werkhoven 0 Posted January 23, 2005 Thanks for your honest critic, I am always open for an other mind. I this case I have been thinking too, in a way I tryed to manage the eye to the yellow yolk of the egg and at the same time show the thinnes of the scales, for the composition I needed some space in the front. The out of focus did not border me in the beginning, but lateron I had my doubts too. The problem is if I had used a smaller aperture the imige would become to flat. Finally it was satisfying enough and the editor did not mind. So, money in the pocket. Link to comment
mike werkhoven 0 Posted January 23, 2005 Nice of you to pass by and soften the critic. At the same time I was doubting too about the unsharp entre in the picture, but as you did mention it has it`s reason. Link to comment
kristin_morales 0 Posted January 24, 2005 I like the reflections i see in the plate and egg...and of course the colors compliment each other nicely. Link to comment
Link to comment
