Crescent Moon

nice job! I just did this yesterday :P so I can't give you any props for originality..

I am looking at the 20D, but this pic confuses me... Is the halo/glow a product of the digital camera? Were you using a decent lens? If you have the time could you please email me your thoughts and answers to these questions? jackjoyce@skylightphotos.com

My critique: Great exposure! However, as you said, not the most creative. The rule of thirds would have helped here. Placing the moon in the top left corner could have made it a bit more dramatic.

jack, thats the kind of criticism we need! I just posted some kind of request to that nature on my moon pic, I like this shot because the exposure is good showing details in and out of the light. I don't know how to make an image of the Moon original without it being included in some landscape, after all, It's the moon you know.. it's there all the time!!

Simple, I feel good when I look at this picture.
