i really like this one here...i guess thats some sort of tee..i firt thought coffee and lemmons?..o my god..but then my brain began to work...a bit at least..haha..okay..i like that..

Hi Norbert, thank you! I thought this image was blatantly didascalic, the 'meaning' being that while we go on with our pleasant homely lives martha is extinct... It's good to know it doesn't come out that way. I didn't shoot it to convey that meaning anyway. I had in mind a specific still life on which this was intended to be a variation. Cheers!

i was just to lacy to search for the dictionary yesterday..i didnt knew the word extinct...anyways..now its clear..and yes..it does come out this way..or maybe somthing similar..

 

the unfinished breakfast..maybe you might think of the bird..but i think about the human who was

sitting here..hmm..i am still tiered :)

I can imagine this moment: enjoying a cup of coffee & biscuits, browsing through the papers, totally enjoying this moment of relaxation. Very well composed & thought out shot.

Leo, I've always liked this picture, not just for the symetry, but for the tone & the fact that you clipped off the bottom of the saucer. Other things that I can't explain, but I think it's about perfect.

I keep coming back to this shot... just to remind myself that still life shooting can indeed be rewarding... if one has the taste and "spark" to put together something like this. Very creative and technically sound.
