Not too much space. I really like the crop. But maybe a bit too monochromatic for such a quiet subject. I really like this image but think it has not reached its full potential. Were you after a noise effect? Or is that just high ISO?

not sure what the 'noise' is: I shot handheld at ISO 200. Saved the file as a jpeg in camera, so it could be a jpeg artifact. More likely it is just the sand itself-- pretty large diversity of fairly large sand grains on that particular beach

I attached a 100% crop of the original image to show the grain- see below.

Steve, I think this could become a great abstract/concept picture if you twik it in PS. I see a flying saucer going forward in high speed.

To answer your question - I dont think its boring, I think it is pleasingly (can you say that in english ?) calm. Just one of those simple shots, were nothing can be added or taken away, wich is so hard to take. 6/6
