Beach huts, Hopeman

ian cameron

Dazzling reflected light from the paintwork of this odd mixture of painted beach huts at Hopeman Bay in Scotland, is captured on film as the sun slips below a layer of thick black cloud. Twas pure theatre. Please feel free to visit my website, access times are a lot more rapid now. Transient light, There are some superb new shots at Timecatcher too.

Fabulous theatrical lighting beneath black skies illuminates this odd

mix of beach huts at Hopeman Bay as the sun slips beneath.

Hi Ian, i really like the angle you have choosen to capture this photo. Also colors for building really contrast well with the very dark part. More detail in the dark part would help.

No offence Ian...Youre a wOnderful Landscape photographer...

Love the lighting and contrast! Nice composition also leading the eye to the red clouds in the background. Great shot!

I quite agree about the dark bit. I'm afraid it is a limitation of the scanner as the detail in this area on the original transparency is quite outstanding. I still quite like the weighting of the image light to dark.

I like the composition you used here, and the light of sunset under those dark clouds, oh (so) well... Jiri
