Needed a bigger light source to get rid of the hot spot and hopefully increase the seperation from the background. Compositionally the lemons to the left are off on there own too much

I like your idea to hid the red in of the watermellon and put it on the table instead. Very original and beautiful simple forms

Great colors and composition! Composition is just perfectly (imo). Light and frame - nicely done. Maybe it would be better with other color of background (but its a detail - anyway - Great shot).

I like the angle of the watermellon and how, if you follow the curve around in a clockwise direction, you end up at the two lemons in the lower right. I like that you left so much space in the upper right.

 

The sliced lemon is pointing to, or implying that the viewer recongnize the watermellon as the primary subject. It might have been interesting to see it in the bottom left at the same angle as the watermellon.

Great representation of halves concept with green and yellow making the color green. So basic but yet so real.
