Nice display of pure colors. I particularly like the broken stem cocked at an angle - breaks up the vertical perspective in just the right way.

I find that a good still-life is one of the hardest subjects "to get right." A lot of thought has to be given in order to make it a pleasing image. You've accomplished it with this photo.
