Guest Guest Posted January 9, 2005 I love this. Pardon me if I'm not sure of the gender, but I'll use "she". The sullen look is so at odds with the stuffed animal. The coloration just adds to the dynamic. I like the fact that the only well lit parts are the girls face, and the toy lying on its back... forgotten, and yet not forgotten at all. Lovely. She appears in a corner hiding from the world, the bear is a master touch, interpreted by me as the loss of innocence. Without looking at the rest of your portfolio, I would have to rate this as a 7/7. The lighting, composition and DoF are all excellent. I would love to have seen this in colour, although I agree, the B&W is the most appropriate. Very Professional Link to comment
