gauthier 0 Posted September 26, 2001 I bit too much sky, I think, but this is just a matter of personal taste: the picture is striking and the colors, awesome. Could you provide us with some more technical details: time of day, exposure length, filter? I might be able to give it a try next winter, here in cold Canada. Link to comment
scharin 0 Posted September 26, 2001 The photo was taken in the morning, at about f/8 & 1/60. The color intensity comes from using Velvia with a polarizer (which I use in many of my color photos). Link to comment
geoffeldridge 0 Posted September 27, 2001 I really like this one .. again, personal taste, but I would have liked a bit more sky :-) Also thanks for the technical details. Link to comment

samir 0 Posted September 28, 2001 Great pictures. The ice looks as if it is suffering and dying. Link to comment
galan 0 Posted September 29, 2001 A little bit underexposed (the blue) but I think it works in expressing the cold and remoteness of the area. I would have liked to see SOME white. Link to comment
rsriram 0 Posted October 11, 2001 The sky is velvet! It is one of those pictures... when I look at it, I go "Wow! I wish I'd been there and taken that shot!" Wonderful work. Link to comment
