mitras 0 Posted January 6, 2005 Its nice how colors come out with long exposures at night. I have tried this a couple of time and was pleasantly surprised. Your photo has good sharpness to it also. I wonder how you can eliminate the shadows in the background, they are a bit 'noisy'. May be, choose a tree that is far away from light-colored walls. Did you try lighting the tree artificially ? Or was it all the ambient natural light ? Link to comment
ynse 0 Posted January 6, 2005 I haven't tried artificial coloring, those are my first attempts in night photography. The tree was close to the street lamps, walls as well, so those are all more or less natural or met conditions. As with dark noise, probably lightening with artificial light would help eliminate that noise (it would allow for lower sensitivity). It seems to be a next natural step. I wanted to try street scenes as in your night-photography folder, but my areas seem to be quite hazardous at night ;). Thanks for leaving the comment. Cheers. Link to comment
harnstrom1 0 Posted January 27, 2005 Hi Pawel. Thanks for your comments! I'll give you a hint. Sometimes I use the "magic trick USM 20-50-0", it works like a type of clarity-filter. I made some things with your nice pictur. The magic trick, burns and some clone in the background. Kind regards. Link to comment
