the shadows of the branches create a really intersting pattern and the contrast of light and dark is very nice, very atmospheric! who ever rated it at 2/2 and 3/3 have absolutely NO artistic vision, plenty of those on photo,net! just ignore those ratings!

thanks for your kind words charlotte! yes, there is quite a bit of atmosphere i think, and the fact that it was spontaneous---without design---made it all the more dramatic for me. i entered, and there were unfamiliar shadows thronging my unlit room.

 

that said, i do feel that there is a lack of a subject---a central point to capture the eye. let me know if you have any ideas/suggestions.

hello again sayan - i think the image itself is full of interest - i think you could improve it though as it is a little out of focus - if you have access to photoshop you could sharpen it slightly?
