"This should be obvious and important to anyone with a critical eye.

I realize that it's bad form to reference yourself in a response but...

I just went back and noticed that this is mage is loaded into a folder entitled "Digital Art". This discovery completely nullifies my arguments for the photographer to provide more information. I apologize for requesting more from the photographer.

One final thought: I considered removing my comments, but since they are now part of a discussion, the responses wouldn't make much sense. So I'll leave it up to Anne to decide if they should remain.

I check as well, you are right SP. It's digital Art, done well. There is no question about it. However, it was presented as a photograph and we are on Photo.net site , I might sound like a hard nosed and stubborn, but this is not photograph. If there is a line what is photo and what is not, this is definetely way over the line

I don't generally enter in debates as this, I don't really see sense to discuss or to try to convince anybody, me alone I show a picture you can think what you/they want, if he/she has arrangements, if he/she has them.

but nobody gave in the nail, nobody discovered anything.

alone they look and enjoy, if they cannot make it they don't look at my picture.

kisses anne...

So much has been commented on about this photo. We all have the same reaction in saying this is way above the standard of posted photos.Truly simply, but excellent at the same time.Composition and the B&W format takes this image to a prise tag of being in demind......

That's not what I was saying at all.

Even if this is manipulated, the composition is very interesting, mostly because of it's simplicity. However the frame detracts heavily on the overall composition.
