warren_baird 0 Posted October 12, 2001 This is another of my "Ghost by a pond" images - I have a couple of specific questions - is the light on the left annoying? How about the cars etc. on the right side? Would I be better to crop this down or paint them out? Link to comment
greg mccracken 13 Posted October 12, 2001 I really like it. Very unusual. I think it could be improved by cropping out the bright light at the left but leaving the brightly illuminated tree in to keep the left bright. If doing this, I would also trim some from the bottom. I really like it just the same! Link to comment
timo_inkinen 0 Posted October 12, 2001 Beautiful but "unnatural" lightning (in a good sense), which saves this photo. I think it needs some cropping from the bottom of the photo, but everything else is just fine as it is now. Link to comment
leif_rudd 0 Posted October 14, 2001 hi warren. i think the most valuable area of the picture is the center third. i realize that leaves a slice whose aspect ratio might feel odd to some people, but the light and cars are annoying to my eye. the center of the shot reveals a very tranquil, enjoyable image. warren_baird 0 Posted October 16, 2001 Hmm... I think you may be right... I've played around with cropping the image several ways, and cropping down to the middle bit does seem to work pretty well.. I've added a cropped version to this folder if you want to check it out... Thanks for the comments. Link to comment
