davidmccracken 2 Posted January 6, 2005 Knicki, If we ever meet I hope to photograph you demonstrating your breast theory! Let's see what happens Thomas! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 6, 2005 when I'm cold mine are perkier...dare you to respond to that one, Thomas. Sandy, I dont think it's all that important that the breast here be all that believable. In fact, the larger the breast does not make it better to nurse from. I know numerous women with large breasts that were completely incappable of breast feeding while myself who is less endowed was able to properly feed 3 children- not at once mind you. Plus, after the initial engorgement and after time the breasts arent all big and full anyway during breast feeding. After awhile they settle in and are just typical breasts that happen to squirt milk at times. My apologies for any of the males out there for the breast feeding lecture. I believe this shot is more conceptual in nature and not to be taken as a literal documentary type shot. I do believe you have every write to question and comment on David's work or anyone else's work as this is an open forum where comments are requested but I do find it intriquing as to why you are so into David and his choice of model. If he shot the typical tanned white blonde with big pouty lips and saline breasts would you be happier with his choice? addendum- noticed Owen's work has moved you to comment. Good choice. davidmccracken 2 Posted January 6, 2005 It is funny how culture is..... Here in Hong Kong the Chinese are offended by the site of breast feeding! What makes this stranger is that the Chinese will not think twice about placing a baby on a table where everyone is eating and change its 'heavily soiled' nappy. (diaper for our American friends!) Knicki! You can lecture all you want. By the way, you quote, "typical tanned white blonde with big pouty lips and saline breasts..." Do you know any? Link to comment
sandy_vale 0 Posted January 6, 2005 Bad Luck David!! Same Planet! My intention was not to cause a furore but to comment on what i visually see. There in seems to lie a problem - I have spoonfed beyond breastfeeding - but I don't spoonfeed egos. Get a Grip!!! Link to comment

davidmccracken 2 Posted January 7, 2005 To quote Knick again, "....myself who is less endowed was able to properly feed 3 children- not at once mind you." I am disappoined! I really would love to photograph a three breasted woman no matter how well endowed they were. I have a friend with 3 nipples but he is not a she! Oh well! Link to comment
beepy 0 Posted January 7, 2005 I'm with Knicki on one technical point - the flare on the upper part of the glass is distracting (I only bring this up because I'm about to shoot some still lives in glass vases and I will have to crack my lighting books open to figure out how to tone down the specular reflections... grrrrr...). baldurbirgis 0 Posted February 13, 2005 I like this image. Do you think it would have been better with the nail painted red? Kind regards, Baldur Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 14, 2005 Thanks for your comment. Maybe the nail would be better painted. I don't think it would make a huge difference though! Link to comment
