You may ask "where is the sea?" Well, the dark blue background is

indeed the sea. This photo was taken not far from the fishing village

where Hemingway's story was based. You comments and suggestions are

I alway love pictures of older people with rinkles that show age. I think maybe B&W would have been better, but not sure.

Another wonderful capture. I like the cropping very much, with the angle of the face crossing the image frame. The soft red light and the reflections in the eye also contribute to a very powerful image. Rick

Lovely composition. The colors are just right and did you tell him to suck? I can see embers on the cigar stick.

This is a great shot. The man was actually talking through his eyes. A seaman, i supposed. He looked and stared at his subject which happened to be the photographer and was telling you that this got to better be a nitch shot. Well done.
