Frost Bite

ian cameron

A last glimpse from my winter climbing exploits on Tom Na Gruigach, overlooking the mountains of Torridon including Beinn Eighe, Beinn Dearg, and the evocatively named Horns of Alligin. It was bitterly cold but the view warmed me. Not a hobbit in sight!! Please feel free to visit my website, access times are a lot more rapid now. Transient light, There are some superb new shots at Timecatcher too.

Even the rocks looked like they had suffered frost bite. Bitterly

cold I was, but the clarity of the view made me forget that my toes

were no longer part of my circulatory system.

great colors and level of details, evidently carring out a large format camera up there was worth the effort! I just feel the image a little lacking of perspective even if it was your intention to shoot so. also horizon is going down to the left. 6/6 to me, but without defects it would have been a full score!

You may well be right about the tilt. Easily corrected of course, however, I suspect my brain was in the process of freezing at the time. Some say it still hasn't thawed yet..
