johnw436 1 Posted January 2, 2005 Beautiful. The mixture of color, light, and shadow is perfect in my opinion. Looking at this picture makes me feel like I am there. Link to comment
jos www.inpix.biz 0 Posted January 4, 2005 Love it!!! This is an 'in the forest' shot! I like the graduated colors from yellow to green. Very well seen! Link to comment
andrewpgrant 0 Posted January 4, 2005 Thanks Jos. It was the graduated colours that originally caught my eye as it said something to me about autumn progressing - like it was being forced upon the forest by the winter-like branches of the dark trees at bottom left. Thanks also John and Jan for your kind comments. Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted January 5, 2005 I like the gold and green color combination. The way the trunks draw the viewer into the left 1/3 and middle lower 1/3 is also dramatic. It leaves the viewer with much of the frame to explore and enjoy. It seems to me you are improving dramtically these days Andrew. Fun to see! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted January 7, 2005 I've seen similar shots, but this is one of the best ones I've seen, thanks to the difference in colors - green and yellow. Nice! Link to comment
blago 0 Posted January 8, 2005 Beautiful colors, Andrew ! The tree branches are so sharp that the whole picture looks like one giant autumn leaf. A rare case when the back light works so effectively. Regards. Blago Link to comment
andrewpgrant 0 Posted January 8, 2005 Thanks Blagoy... there is indeed little in this world that is as magical as a sun-lit autumn canopy. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted January 10, 2005 Sunlight seeping through the vivid colours of leaves is wonderfully portrayed. Link to comment
charlotte 0 Posted January 14, 2005 love the black tree trunks in contrast to the golden yellows and greens...wow wouldn't it be nice to sling a hammock in between those tress and just lie there looking up..... www.charlotteaberg.com Link to comment
andrewpgrant 0 Posted January 15, 2005 Yes, it would be nice... even nicer would be the weather that was warm enough to allow you to lie outside in a hammock ;-) Thanks Cherlyn and Charlotte. Link to comment

kjell_grotland 0 Posted March 20, 2005 This reminds me of a pointillist painting ive seen in the Galleries in Washington DC and in some books....the colours are extraordinary....very beautiful work. Cheers, Kjell :-) Link to comment
danmangan 0 Posted January 12, 2006 Absolutely terrific. This is as close to perfection as this kind of "looking up" photograph can achieve. Link to comment
