I've been wanting to take a photo like this for a long time... one day, the weather was just right, and I was at the right place... and the magic just happened.

I like the sense of loneliness about this shot, and I agree, the weather fit this well. I would have liked to see the man stand out a little more, perhaps a lighter shade of clothing - seems like he blends into the background a little too much for my taste. Looks like the tracks may be a little off center too, but that might have been intentional. :)

i would add that i fell disturbing the black stain on the left and it seems to me strange the white alone directly overhead: was the day so foggy that the sun coulnd't even break out or did you intentionally retouched in ps? otherwise a nice shot.

some people are sooo picky - i love this shot as it is, very atmospheric and full of loneliness.
